1/4 router bit
I purchased two of the Freud bits because of my experience with another brand. With the other brand two bits sheared off routing a dado 3/8 inch deep in red oak, with two passes. I got a total of 12 lineal feet completed with these two bits. Increased the cost of my cupboard dramatically. I was very cautious with the Freud bits. After about 20 lineal feet I became less cautious. The cut was smooth without the feel of the bit being bound up by the cut fras. The bit left a slight fuzz at the top of the dado, easily taken care of with 150 grit sand paper. The bit is still sharp, unburned and I have a second bit just in case. I'll take the minor sanding to save a lot of dollars.
